Medico Legal Experience

Dr Sarah Norman & Co was established as a specialist medico-legal practice in July 1998, by myself and my husband, Mr Mark Hope. Our rationale was to combine my medical experience and expertise with Mark’s professional services background. Our aim was to prepare expert medical reports of the highest quality, delivered with the client focus one would expect from a professional services organisation.

Over the years we have established a reputation for producing thorough and balanced reports, with an associated high level of service, as attested to by our client testimonials.

Approximately two thirds of my instructions are in relation to injuries sustained in road traffic accidents (“RTAs”). Whiplash/neck sprains, as well as back sprains, are the most common injuries arising from such accidents, though other soft tissue injuries such as to the chest or shoulders are also common. Many accident victims also experience psychological symptoms, ranging from generalised travel anxiety to recognised disorders such as PTSD.
