Medico Legal Experience
I have extensive experience of medico-legal assessments and report writing, including the requirements of the changes introduced as a result of the Woolf report, for personal injury cases.
I have provided expert opinions on a variety of aspects of respiratory and general medicine, although my main areas of expertise are in occupational asthma/ asthma due to environmental exposures, asbestos related lung disease, pulmonary physiology and obstructive sleep apnoea. I have provided reports in breathalyser related cases. I have performed many assessments for the DTI coal miners compensation scheme.
In the last 2-3years I have performed over 100 DTI coal miners assessments, and 15-20 other reports per annum.
