Since I was a senior house officer with Mr Derek Henderson I have had an interest in craniofacial surgery and have taken every opportunity available to me to satisfy my interest. As a medical student and surgical trainee, I travelled widely and visited a number of units around the world to broaden my experience. Training in Glasgow, I had the opportunity to be guided by Professor Khursheed Moss and Mr Rab Hide, in the UK’s first Craniofacial Unit.
