30 years as London Teaching Hospital Consultant (Medical and Dental)
Honorary Consultant Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon at The Royal London and St. Bartholomew's Hospitals. My Specialty training over fifteen years comprised both dental and medical undergraduate and postgraduate practice. ( GMC No: 2411930 )
I have Surgical Fellowships in Surgery in General as well as Dental Surgery. I am accredited as a specialist on the European Register. I have publications in and regularly teach on specialist areas including Head and Neck Cancer, Facial Injury, Jaw Deformity and Salivary Gland Disease. I have regularly performed services as an Expert Witness since my Teaching Hospital appointment in 1990.
I have also contributed to a text book on medico/legal matters "Outcome after Head, Neck and Spinal Trauma - a Medical/Legal Guide", Butterworth Heinemann.
I am conversant with the details of the Woolf report and have attended both introductory courses and follow up courses. I am a member of the Medico/Legal Society of Great Britain and a member of the Association of Facial Plastic Surgeons. Registered as an Expert in The Law Society "Directory of Expert Witnesses" and with The Association of Personal Injury Lawyers.
