Medico Legal Experience
Mr Colin J Read practiced as a consultant in orthopaedics and trauma since 1985. He is experienced in the management of all aspects of orthopaedic trauma, with a special interest in management of spinal disorders and trauma and ankle and foot surgery and trauma.
He retired from the National Health Service in May 2003 while a Substantive Consultant in Orthopaedic and Trauma at the Luton and Dunstable Hospital with special interest in treatment of the spine and responsible for the spinal service at the hospital.
He is experienced in the field medico legal practice since 1985, including the writing of medical legal reports and court appearances.

He is well versed in the Woolf Reforms and The Civil Procedure Rules Part 35, and has prepared more than 20,000 reports since 1985.
Mr Read has extensive experience in all aspects of orthopedic trauma. Special expertise in injuries to the spine& chronic spinal pain & all aspects of foot and ankle surgery.
