Medico – Legal work
I have wide ranging experience of working in the accident and emergency, trauma & orthopaedics spanning over many years in addition to working in different surgical and medical specialities. I have been working as a full time GP since June 1998.
I have extensive experience of writing medico-legal reports for personal injuries resulting from assaults, road traffic and work related accidents. Currently, in my capacity as a general practitioner I write about 120 medico-legal reports on average, every month for clients examined in medico-legal clinics.
I use mainly GRIP (and occassinally WARP) software for my report writing.
I also have prepared reports for department for works and pensions benefit agency, police, prison service and insurance industry. I have attended Bond Solon expert witness training course, 'Excellence in Report Writing'.
I have also given evidence in Magistrate Court, twice, on behalf of the Majesty’s Prison Service.
