Medico Legal Experience

Medico – Legal Experience:-

I have carried out medico-legal report work during the whole of my consultant career. At present I do approximately 300 reports a year with a Pursuer/ Defender split of 70/30. Cases involve musculo-skeletal trauma from Road/ Work Accidents, Falls etc. I also assess Medical Negligence Cases.

I am experienced in Court Work being registered with the Law Society of Scotland as an Expert Witness. I am usually only required to attend court once or twice a year.

I was involved for a number of years assessing Beat Knee Cases mainly from the shipbuilding industry.
