Medico Legal Experience

I have been working on a Low Secure Unit since 2003, and have special expertise in complex treatment resistant psychosis. I am familiar with diverting and treating patients from the criminal justice system. I have been trained in contemporary risk assessment tools for violence and sexual assault, including the HCR-20 and RSVP. I am appointed by the GMC to examine doctors for fitness to practice. I am experienced in the assessment and treatment of drug and alcohol dependency. I have published articles in peer reviewed journals on Health Status measurement, Dementia and Schizophrenia. I have written in excess of 100 medicolegal reports since 1999, and have given evidence in Court.
